There are dozen and more reviews these days, so why should you read mine?

I am only writing my viewpoint/perspective on the movie ‘Sara’s’ and have no intention to promote or demote the movie

Sara’s

Sara’s is a finely scripted movie of a girl next door with an ambition to make it big in the film industry.

Movie briefly discusses on the lack of gender diversity in the film industry, however it majorly grapples a very different but common issue over her decision.

I liked the way the movie is narrated, considering pregnancy is a very delicate issue. Director throws light into the protagonist world and the way she deals with her decisions and leaves it there without being very preachy.

Is it worth 2hr of your time: Absolutely!

Rating — 3.5/5

*** Spoiler Alert ***

The movie starts with a young girl, on a cold rainy morning sitting close to her boyfriend and trying to kiss him. Soon we see them discussing their future, were they plan to get married and have kids. Sara immediately gets uneasy and blurts out that she never wants to have kids.

Best Scene/ Funny Scene — Egg puffs

Sara and her boyfriend are eating egg puffs while they are discussing their future. As soon as she blurts, that she doesn’t want to have kids, her boyfriend leaves her. Camera zooms in to a half boiled egg on the floor eaten by ants, with a voice over by Sara telling the audience, ‘he said, he doesn’t want egg puffs without eggs.’

Worst Scene /Issue — Happy Ending

There really isn’t a worst scene in the movie as there aren't any flaws between the scenes or in the story.

Movie tries not to hurt viewers sentiments and ends it on a happy note. However in doing so, one feels, if it skipped over difficult emotions, after a big decision?
